Running on Slime

Edit after publish: This is a snail, not a slug. I got confused although I shouldn’t have considering his brethren murdered my pet frog many years ago. Okay, carry on.
We’ve gotten some early spring showers here over the last few weeks, which means frequent visits from these guys. When I was a kid, we used to get slugs on the front step of our house during the summer months, but they never had shells. They were long, thick, green, and slimy, and although I was always tempted to test the salt theory, I was never that much of a brute to actually do it.
Surprise! I guess I have a heart after all.

I guess my lil bro was a brute..he tried that test along with several others.
I guess my childhood friends and bro and i were brutes as well… the salt theory is prolly the nastiest theory to ever test out. that’s all i can say….
So, what’s the different between these and snails? =\
Oh, and yes. I’ve tried out the theory one-too-many times. :$
