A Childhood Hero

Over the weekend, The Boss and I watched as “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase got inducted into the 2010 WWE Hall of Fame. Million Dollar Man was in his prime when I was growing up, and he was among the many wrestling superstars I looked up to as a kid. Watching the Million Dollar Man tribute video brought back so many memories that I actually got choked up when he came out on stage — and when the audience stood to their feet, I cheered from my living room. After the induction, The Boss and I reminisced about some of our favorite wrestlers, and then for old time sake, we spent the next 30 minutes on YouTube watching some of DiBiase’s old matches, and perfecting his signature moves on each other. It was a beautiful evening.
