The final video: Bed & Bath

Last week I blogged about my trip to Oklahoma to film the final Webisode in a five-part series for BlogHer’s “Putting it All Together.” The video on tips to decorate your bed and bath is here!
For the final video, Rhoda from Southern Hospitality, and I joined Ree to talk about whether our bed and bath area was more a place of peace and comfort, or a place where we just throw our crap, and slam the door shut. It was an interesting conversation to have since our living situations are so vastly different. Ree lives on a beautiful ranch, in a home that she and her husband moved into after Ree’s in-laws moved out. They also built a beautiful guest house on their property, which could easily double as another home, and the land around them stretches as far as the eye can see. Rhoda lives in a beautiful home in the south where her love for all things DIY has added a flavor that is unique and reflective of her own personal style. And I live in a studio apartment in L.A., where minimalism isn’t a choice, but a beautiful way of life forced upon you by circumstance. It was great spending time in Oklahoma, working with wonderful people, eating delicious food, and being in the company of wonderful women. A big thank you to Macy’s for sponsoring this fun series.
