Shell and Coin Bracelet from H&M

When it comes to dual-color accessories that include gold, I’ve always thought black and gold was a stellar look. But something about this bracelet really stood out to me — the white looks so refreshing, so multi-seasonal, and the shell and coin combo is basic yet fun. The only quirk to this pretty little thing it jingles as loudly as the hook of a Christmas carol so I have to take it off when I pray — so not to distract myself, or the people around me.

Hi Ayesha. Thank you for your sweet comments. I wore my hijab the way I normally do (video here: http://tinyurl.com/yk54smj) and then my mom and dad helped me with the accessories for my wedding. They have good taste, m’A!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
