Coin Bib Necklace from H&M

I got this necklace from H&M one afternoon while on a casual stroll through the mall with absolutely no intention of buying anything. Isn’t that how it always works? You find the best stuff when you’re not even looking. I love statement pieces: earrings, necklaces, rings, whatever makes me feel like I have a totally great piece that’s unique to who I am. Statement jewelry should be worn one way, and one way only: minimally. The whole purpose of a statement piece is for it, alone, to make the statement. When wearing something extra bold, keep everything else you have on, including your hijab, to an absolute minimum in terms of colors, prints and patterns. A really bold piece like this also looks great with a dress, or top with a low-scooping front for whatever occasion you deem appropriate.

I loooooove necklaces like this but I never know how to wear them with hijab. They are always too short to peek out under my hijab (since I like to cover my chest with the scarf) and it looks a little funny on top of the hijab. Any suggestions on what I could do?
