My physical therapy sessions for my knee(s) has come to an end, but my PT suggested I get a foam roller, which will give me a deep-tissue massage and release the tension in various muscles and bands in my body. The Boss and I found this one at Target, and I’ve been really happy with it. But don’t let this cylindrical toy-like chunk of foam fool you. When done right, it puts the hurt on. The-grit-your-teeth type of hurt that makes you grunt without warning. I like to do it near an open as the neighborhood children are headed to the bus stop. The look of terror in their eyes followed by a noticeable increase in their walking speed is totally priceless.
