Before The Boss and I got married, we went out to look at household goods and other stuff we’d need after we got married. We weren’t planning on buying anything, but when we saw this set of multicolor bowls/mugs, we knew they’d look great in our kitchen. World Market tends to be a little pricey at times, so we decided to get them if the whole set was less than $20. I was pretty sure that was unlikely, so we picked up the box and turned it over.

$19.99.

Sometimes, life is just THAT good.

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
