The Bic Triumph. The Name is So Very Appropriate.

Remember a few months ago when I wrote a really melodramatic post about how my favorite pen died? It was  a sad time in my life, and so many of you wrote to me suggesting really great pens I should try. Readers, you’re too sweet, and adorable, and I love you.

Well, that was in May, and though it was a rough five months living without the perfect pen, in October, The Boss got me a few of these as part of my birthday gift.

I love a man who knows what his woman really wants.

It’s the BIC Triumph 537R Needle-Point Rollerball Pen with a 0.5 mm tip, and when I pulled it out of the birthday bag I examined it carefully. I ripped open the pack, and then it was the moment of truth. I had to see if it could handle the diligence with which I work each day.

When a pen can withstand my doodles, the world just seems like a better place.

And when it can help me make a grocery list for the ingredients needed for my favorite veggie lasagna, you know that this little rollerball is special.

Now we go everywhere together, hand in hand.
And things have really started to look up.

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
