Angie's Banana Bread Recipe

A girl I work with was sweet enough to share her banana bread recipe with me, so yesterday, I made my first loaf of it! Except we don’t own a loaf pan, so I turned them into muffins. And I also added chocolate chips. But she said that was okay, because you can add any “topping” you like. Except she didn’t call it a “topping” because a topping would go on top of whatever you make, and I mixed the chocolate chips into the batter.

I don’t really know anything about baking, and I’m pretty sure I just butcherd her recipe and she will likely never share anything with me again. But hey, at least you have this until I get blacklisted. Try it, it’s yum!

Angie’s Banana Bread:

3 bananas (ripe)
3.4 c sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 and 1/2 c flour
1/2 c melted butter (unsalted)
1 tsp. baking soda

Mash bananas. Add sugar, eggs, melted butter. Add the salt and baking soda to the flour, and add flour slowly. Mix together well. Pour into loaf pan. Bake about 1 hour at 325 degrees.

*Add chocolate, nuts, etc. as you wish.

(If you decide to make muffins like I did, bake for about 40 minutes).
