S&P shakers

My friend Lindsay got The Boss and I these Good Chemistry Salt & Pepper shakers last year (they’re available here) and we haven’t had a chance to use them until now. With our move to L.A., and The Boss’s sudden departure, I packed up the whole house only to discover later that three-fourths of the stuff we had was not going to be joining us in Cali. Over the last few months we’ve gone back to the east coast twice, and both times we had a chance to collect more of our things and bring them back with us. Mostly it’s been clothes, and shoes, and a few art pieces, but a few weeks ago, my dad mailed us a package with a bunch of household things we left behind, and included these salt and pepper shakers. They’re adorable, useful, and now filled up and ready to shake!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
