Mochi Ice Cream

mochi ice cream

The Boss and I swung by the grocery store the other day to get ice cream, and that’s when we both saw this. Moments later I melted, and someone yelled, “Clean up in aisle 22!” but then I got up before anyone could come over and rub my face with a dirty floor mop.

I LOVE mochi, and life can’t get much better than smooshing a ball of ice cream into something you love, especially when that something is mochi.

What? That last sentence didn’t make any sense? Who cares! They sell mochi ice cream at the grocery store! That’s like the equivalent to finding out that your favorite prescription drug is now available over the counter.

They had a variety of flavors including vanilla, mango, strawberry and chocolate, but we went for the good old green tea. This stuff is absolutely delicious (pay no mind to the calorie count because it’s totally worth it) and though it’s a little on the pricey side for ice cream, it’s a nice treat that you can get in the freezer section, and not have to go all the way to a sushi restaurant to enjoy.

Hi Farah. We got these at Albertsons. I’m not sure if you can get them at Trader Joe’s but you’re right, it’s a great place to shop!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
