Recycle Your Style

I got a necklace from Urban Outfitters a few years ago that was a long silver chain with bird silhouettes hanging from it. I must have forgotten I had it, or maybe I just lost interest in wearing it, but I pulled it off my necklace stand a few months ago, and got a little creative.

I pulled the three birds off the chain, since I wasn’t wearing the necklace anymore, and thought about what I could do with them.

I walked around our apartment, and then decided they would look perfect on the narrow part of the wall just above the bed.

I put them up with foam mounting squares, and voila! instant charm.
