ithr

The Boss got this bottle of cologne by a company called Rasasi as a gift a while back. It’s called “itr” (say: e-thur) which translates to “scent” in Arabic. This stuff is hugely popular in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa, and it’s a type of natural perfume that is extracted from flowers, herbs spices, or barks. It’s usually sold in tiny ornate bottles, and because its ingredients are natural, and about 20 to 50 percent concentrated, you only need a tiny little drop, or spray. I’m not sure what this specific scent is called, but you check out their Web site for more information.

I love these types of fragrances. I wish this was available in the states. They don’t show it on their website.

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
