The Boss got me this hand knit throw a while back, and it became an instant favorite of mine. Because it’s knitted, it has the unique ability to retain and release heat at the same time. Back on the east coast, I used it as an extra layer on my bed in the winter so I was unsure if I should bring it with me to L.A. since the weather out here is so warm. I brought it anyway, and turns out, it’s actually light-weight enough to use during a nap, or just to curl up on the couch with while eating cookies and watching “Planet Earth.”

Gotta love anything that makes sleeping and eating more enjoyable.

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
