My  bff Tina got me this cookbook before The Boss and I got married.
The Boss is a stellar cook himself, but I must say, this cookbook (along with some of my mom and dad’s recipes) has allowed me to move my cooking skills up a level.
Yes, I’m still a novice, but I’d like to think that I’m more like a novice with a stripe on my cooking belt.

We eat Indian food every few weeks in our house . We mostly cook fusion foods, put our own spin on recipes, and check the World Wide Web for stuff that looks healthy and yummy, but The Boss and I are suckers for Indian, and this book has it all.

Vegan? Vegetarian? Meat lover? There is something in here for everyone — and the best part? It has pictures! Do you know how huge that is for me? I am such a visual learner. I couldn’t do it without the beautiful photographs.

Surprise! Who thought the words “Indian food” and “low fat” could ever go together? Well in this book, they can!

There are dozens of recipes in here that include a nutritional value so you can be mindful of portions, but still eat what you love.

Thanks, bff!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
