recipe book 1

Before I left for Cali, my cousin gifted me this Bon Appetit Pocket Page Recipe Book.

recipe book 3

The detail on the front is fitting, and absolutely adorable.

recipe book 2

It’s divided into sections like soups and salads, sauces and dressings, dairy and eggs, pasta, appetizers and more to keep your recipes organized, and easily accessible.

recipe book 4

It also comes with a conversion chart, which is unbelievably helpful for novice cooks like me and The Boss. Although I must say, we have gotten a lot better in the last year.

recipe book 6

The book is held together like a three-ring binder, which makes it more durable for kitchen use.
It can get crazy in there, you know.

recipe book 5

Each plastic pocket holds two double-sided recipe cards.

Not only does this book provide a great way to keep delicious recipes at our fingertips, but it’s also become a kind of a food journal for The Boss and me — just another fun way to document our life together.

Sounds wonderful. It’s great because when you decide to experiment and make your own recipes you can journal them and have them for all time. Really nice memories from in the kitchen. :) I really like recipe books/cards and this looks like a keeper to me!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
