You Know You Need a Job When…

It’s your turn to clean the kitchen, and you’re so excited that you walk to CVS to buy new sponges, which actually increases your excitement, and on your way home you pick up the pace so you can get there faster.

You call your mom and talk for so long she goes, “Okay, Sabrina, I’m at work. I really need to go now.”

You call your dad, and he goes, “Okay, well it was good talking to you” in an attempt to cut the conversation short.

You call your sister, and she doesn’t even pick up.

You call Little BFF (who’s 8 years old) but her mom says, “All the kids are napping.”

You look through your phone to see who else you could call, but then realize you don’t really have that many friends.

You’ve tweeted 46 times, and it’s not even 9 a.m.

You call a job you interviewed at for the fourth time, and the girl goes, “Sigh. We said we’d call you.”

You re-fluff the cushions on your couch 16 times in 30 minutes.

You’ve plucked 96 hairs out of your leg, and then call your husband at work to say, “This one had an awesome bulb! You should have seen it!”

You keep checking the Snap Cup to see if there’s anything new about you in there, even though you’re the only one home, and Felix can’t read or write.

Wow. Come to think of it, this post could totally have been called, “You Know You Need a Life When…”

Happy Friday, Readers!

I feel the same way since I’ve been jobless for the past 3 weeks! Life is mundane when you have no job!

That signals time for a baby! With a baby in the house you have no time for yourself, no time to think of what to do, and your life is not your own! lol You are 100% preoccupied! No time to fluff pillows or to think about much at all. Draining, but in a good way! lol Has anyone asked yet, “So, when are you going to have a baby?” lol!!

Hi Sabah. No one has asked yet, but my dad said if anyone does, tell them, “It’s none of your damn business.”
He’s a little tactful, and a lot awesome:)

    you can have my job.
i’m just that selfless that i will gladly let you have all the drama, all the poop hitting the fan, the strict deadlines, THE STRESS, the time away from the hubby…just because that’s the kinda friend i am…LOL.

shame it’s on the east coast, DANG.

but seriously, i wish you so much luck…it’s tough out there! i was out for 9 months and i probably cleaned my kitchen three times daily. now i can’t even clean it once a week…lol.

Welcome to my life :-) and having a baby only works for the first 6 months then everything becomes routine.
