Thanks to everyone who left comments, and sent e-mails about the new design. I appreciate your honesty, and am taking into consideration everything you all said to continue to improve the site — both in its aesthetic value, as well as in its functionality.

Believe it or not, it’s actually taking me longer to get used to than I thought it would, and I’ve been staring at the new design for weeks before it went live.

Hopefully, the improvements will continue, but until then, I’m going to be living in a hole for the next four days with limited access to the Internet. Under normal circumstances, just the thought of that would make me break out in a blistery rash all over my body, but there are a few other areas of my life that need immediate attention so I’ll be back on Monday with stories about The Black Messiah whom I met outside of the grocery store.
(Seriously, y’all. That’s what he called himself.)

Have a wonderful weekend!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
