I totally agree with The Boss’s comment on it being a level in Jannah =D
The next big thing I’m saving up for is a Macbook Pro. :)

I’m saving to get my freedom back. A few months back I was dismissed in a relationship that landed me back home with the parental units. I’m saving to get a matchbox of an apartment to be able to say “Screw U, I am contentedly single and on my own”. I can imagine that nice mug on my future thrift store find table waiting to greet me in the morning when I step off the bed and into my dining room. :)

If it isn’t a level in Jannah, I’ll sure ask for one :D

Anywho: I’m saving up for my Senior trip to London (it’s so awesome I have to capitalize it)After I graduate high school, it’s this ‘tradition’ in my family to go take a trip (a tradition started this year with my older brother’s graduation but hey I’m down with it) soo that’s the pricey trip I’m taking with no parental supervision YA! (Okay there’ll be my aunt but still..)

Im trying to save money for a trip to Egypt. My oldest son has been there for over 4yrs, first it was to learn Arabic then he decided he wanted to do his Masters there. I would love to be able to visit him and see where he lives, but with 3 other kids here, also in college, its impossible.

Holla’, I am planning on saving up for a Chanel Purse…although it’s not working so far…I decided it’s stupid if I dwindle my money in Veggie Burrito Bowls from Chipotle or 2 for a $1 Apple Pies from McDonalds…i’A I shall save up…STARTING NOW :)

p.s: you should go to Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City (actually it’s everywhere, but that’s where the flagship store is lol)!

props to u for being of theeeee funniest bloggers out there! i love how you keep it so real :)
so i’m saving up for a steel pan. (no, not something to cook in lol) for those who don’t know, its actually a musical instrument in the caribbean. (sabrina, you may have seen seen/heard it during ur honeymoon) [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_Pan]
living in the cayman islands, i used to play it as part of a band and i absolutely loved it but bcuz of the price i decided that i would wait until i can pay for it from self earned $$$. it may still be a while since i’m a med student but inshAllah it will be soon/worth it! :)

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
