Foot Care from The Body Shop

I’ve never really had problems with dry skin, but recently, my feet have been about as soft and tender as burlap potato sacks. I’ve always used the same lotion on my feet that I use for my body, but over the past three or so months, with all this moody weather, it doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference.
I took a trip to The Body Shop and discovered their line of foot care. The mall was fairly empty, so the woman working there spent all her time using every tester in the store on me. By the time I left, I smelled like I had been baptized in a pool of liquid candy canes.
I left with the Cooling Foot Spray, the Purifying Foot Mask, the Intensive Foot Rescue Treatment, and a Pumpice Foot Scrub, and so far, I am thrilled with the results.
I’m a strong believer in everything you do should benefit someone other than yourself, which is why I feel good about going to The Body Shop. Their products are high quality, never tested on animals, and so many of their products (including their line of foot care) support community trade by working directly with over 30 community trade suppliers to build businesses in more than 20 countries, helping people to earn a sustainable income.

When you get out to California, the best pedicure is walking on the beach… barefoot, of course. And best of all, you’ll be supporting Payless when you end up having to buy new sandals because you ruined yours after accidentally dropping them in the water too many times.
“baptized in a pool of liquid candy canes” LMAO
The malls ARE crazy empty. Mom and I went to Sephora a couple weeks ago to get her face stuff (I’m sooo well-versed in cosmetics, huh?) and I made the mistake of saying A. I didn’t wear much make-up and B. I used the same fragrance since high school(not the same bottle but brand..lol)
I know, in Sephora….I’m asking for trouble.
Anyways, I had the same experience you did, being a human tester for EVERY LOTION KNOWN TO (WO)MAN plus I looked like a Skittles commercial landed on my face.
You def. get serious customer service now, which quite frankly, I’m not used to.
A.A. Sabrina, Mashallah you have such a wonderful blog, totally off topic, i saw it by chance but im so glad i did:) i absolutely love your style videos…well done you! i love your style Mashallah, and your earrings are fab
keep up the good work!
LOL “I smelled like I had been baptized in a pool of liquid candy canes.”
Testers are so much fun, except yesterday when I was at Sephora trying different mineral foundations on my face and came out with 3 different skin tones. ^-^ thanks for the info on the body shop, I will defiantly try their stuff next time I’m at the mall.
I love the Body Shop! The best things about them are their scents and the fact that they don’t test on animals. I’ve tried the Peppermint foot scrub and it was amazing!
I love the Body Shop, I would totally want to live in any one of those stores and smell all of those Yummy scents all day long, I might never leave. I got that peppermint stuff for my mom once and ended up using half of it myself.
Ohhh i love these products… i actually survived my pregnancy because of these.
During my last trimester of pregnancy, my feet and ankles had swollen to the size of baby hippos (no offense to hippos), so the stretched skin would always itch. At one point i was tempted to sleep in a cold bath to soothe the skin. I was forever scratching my feet, which is why The Hubby even threatened to abandon me while we were out shopping. Anyway my sis bought me the peppermint cooling foot gel and voila the problem was solved… The first night i even prayed for body shop, its owners and everyone who worked there.
