Today was pretty awesome.

First, my grandmother turned 89 — WOO!

Next, The Boss and I celebrated our 11 Monthaversary, which was exciting, but then kind of sad because when we talked, he was all, “Hey, this is our last Monthaversary,” and then I got all mad because I thought he was going to leave me for a life-sized plastic Barbie in L.A., so I started yelling, “I don’t need you anyway!!!” and he was all, “What? No. It’s because next month we’ll have an Anniversary,” and then I was like, “Oh, eh..heh…just kidding.”
But then I got really sad because I don’t want to be married for a year. I want to be married for three months all the time because that’s when you get all the attention.

Stranger: How long have you been married for?

Me: Three months

Stranger: AWWWWWWWWWWW! Omigod, that is SOOO cute. You are such a newlywed.

Stranger: Kate! Come over here!

Stranger: She’s only been married for three months.

Stranger’s Friend, Kate: AWWWWWWWWW! That is soooo sweet.

See what I mean?
Now it’s going to be all:

Stranger: How long have you been married for?

Me: A year!

Stranger: Aw man. So tell me, is what they say true  — you know, about the first year being the hardest?

Me: Umm. Well, no. I don’t know.

Stranger: Sucks. Before you know it you’ll be dead.

That’s probably why your parents tell you not to talk to strangers.

Next.
Guess what, Readers?!?!?
THE BOSS FOUND AN APARTMENT!
So exciting, right? I know!
I feel like we should get in a huddle, jump up and down, and scream in loud, high-pitched girl voices.

I spent the last few days packing, and turns out the shipping companies are turning out figures beyond our budget, so now I have to fit my whole life into two checked bags and one carry-on.
That should be fun.

The Boss is moving his stuff into our new place tomorrow, and as he was driving around the neighborhood he goes, “There’s a place down the street where you can buy medical marijuana, and right next to it is a halal meat market.”

Cali is going to be awesome, ya’ll!
