My friends want to be me – especially the part where I drink milk five times a day

A while back, I wrote a post about how much I love milk.

Tina, my bff, can’t stand milk, which is why I thought it would be really funny to e-mail her this, with “I know you’re jealous” in the subject line.

But what was funnier than my e-mail to her, was her response that said, “You are a sick person.”
She could have totally used an apostrophe and hit me with a contraction (i.e. You’re a sick person) but instead she had to be all, “You are a sick person” to like, really drive the point home.

I love her.

Now if you’ll excuse me, since I’m not in L.A. yet (read: can’t go to Ralphs) I’m off to Giant to redeem my well-earned gallon of milk.

P.S. I’m sure it’s nothing personal, Massachusetts and Maine, but if I were you, I’d totally be pissed.

I like milk too but sadly I love it with cookies and cake and such. I love cereal though too.

I would react exactly the same way as your friend.
How can you drink that much milk? There is something wrong with you.

I can’t seem to stop drinking milk once I start. Especially at night. LOL. I don’t get people who don’t like milk either!

    LOL!

You’re like my younger sister, she drinks milk so much that I fear for her health (too much of anything is not good for the body except 8 glasses of water a day).

For the most part I simply cannot stand milk. I only drink it when I eat bake goods and add a dash in my cup of tea(s) … and those occasional times when I’m really thirsty and nothing would quench my thirst but a cold glass of milk.

Well this doesn’t really have anything to do with milk… but I put the recipes up for the pies I made a few weeks ago. Enjoy!

ASAK, I’m glad I stumbled into your blog, it’s really entertaining. I <3 milk, and I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. I moved from the DC Metropolitan area to California as well and I’ve been here 6 yrs now, so feel free to email me if you need any advice or just want to know another (East-Coast, represent) person when you come out here! “Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
