Last weekend, when The Boss came home for a visit, I got yellow and purple flowers in honor of the Lakers’ victory over Houston in Game 7, and to show a little team spirit (even though we’re not on the team) during their game against Denver, which was the first game that The Boss and I got to watch together since the playoffs started.
(Two birds, one stone, etc.)

This week, the Lakers will face Orlando for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and since this year marks the 30th time the Los Angeles Lakers have made it to the finals, it seemed fitting that the flowers burst into bloom just the other day — presumably out of pure joy for the team whose colors they share.

    WOO! GO LAKERS!
However, I wanted the Cavaliers to win against Magic and go against Kobe.
Either way, Lakers will be kicking some magic booty this week :D DDDD

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
