The Boss came home for an impromptu visit this weekend (more on that later) and it sort of re-motivated me to get packing. Ever since he’s been gone, and since my moving date has changed a few times, I sort of packed up the packing, and it’s been business as usual around here.

He had an early flight this morning, and after I dropped him off at the airport, I came home and got busy sorting things, doing laundry and preparing for my move. Seeing The Boss made me remember how much fun it is to be together, and I think packing makes me feel a few steps closer to starting something new together in L.A. The plan is for me to fly out there in the next three weeks, barring that we find an apartment complex that doesn’t have online reviews about the landlord harassing all the female tenants and selling weed to the kids down the street.

At least you have an excuse for such a messy state.
Hopefully, everything works out for you while relocating to the best coast :)

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
