On the phone with The Boss, who left Arizona this morning, and is just a little more than three hours from Los Angeles:
The Boss: I feel like I’ve learned a lot about truckers these past few days.
Me: What do you mean?
The Boss: You know, I feel like I know them.
Me: How?
The Boss: I feel like I know that they don’t like to stop often. They just like to pee in bottles and throw them out the window.
Me: Eww!
The Boss: I’ve seen a bunch of pee bottles on the side of the road.
Me: Gross!
The Boss: And I just saw a half gallon, and was like, ‘Hm. He must have gone a few times.’
Me: That’s sick, stop telling me that.
The Boss: On a lighter note, I’ve only seen one dead dog on the road today.
