COSMINOLOGY SKIN CARE

facewash

I started using Dr. Dima’s Cosminology products a little over a year ago, and I LOVE THEM.
Dr. Dima Ali is an internationally recognized aesthetic and anti-aging medicine expert, specializing in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and women’s health and preventive medicine.

A few years ago, she started her own cosmetic company called Cosminology, and her line of products include everything from sunblock, and eye cream, to mineral foundations and mascara. Her products were even featured in the swag bags at the Oscars in Hollywood last year!

Dr. Dima is a huge fan of outer space and the planets, which is why all of her products have these fun and kooky names. I use the “So Universally Clean You Can Eat Off My Face” face wash, and the “Global Debris Remover” makeup remover, whose tagline, “Get Cosmically Naked” actually makes me blush.

I’ve had really sensitive skin since I was a kid, and these Cosminology products are so gentle, with basic ingredients like water and lavender oil, I could practically wash my face with my eyes and mouth open. (But don’t try that at home).

Don’t let the price tags scare you, one 4 oz bottle lasts for just over three months — and none of Dr. D’s Cosminology products are tested on animals.

    Hey Sabrina!

I’ve recently started taking hijab and was surfing the net for some much needed fashion advice, I’ve been visiting your blog frequently for the past week or so, I LOVE the closet! && I LOVE your blog! I even read your “The Journey Within” and can’t wait for an update =)
The thing is, I’ve had problematic skin since I was in 7th grade, I’m 17 now =/ I’ll be starting college next year and I need a good skin care line, I’ve noticed mashAllah you have GORGEOUS skin! =D I don’t have anything major, minor acne plus I live in Chicago and during the winter my skin is so dry it feels like it can flake off and I just want normal, pretty skin =/ and I honestly DO NOT know how to take care of my skin =( Do you think this skin care line would be good for someone as young as me, with acne-prone/sensitive skin? Also I’m a HUGE make up fan, have you tried the make up? If not, what is some good brand I can wear that won’t clog pores/cause breakout? Help a sister out! Haha Salaam and once again keep up the good work! <3

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
