I Will Succumb to Trash TV

One of my former lacrosse teammates from college will be on the new season of The Bachelor, which will air on Monday, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. on ABC.

And although I would normally avoid watching a show my dad has dubbed, “glorified prostitution,” I can’t help but wonder how Megan will do.

I’m not surprised she got on the show – she’s beautiful and funny, but Megan, if you’re reading this, we all know you can be a real firecracker when left alone with a large group of women in any kind of cut-throat competition…
which is actually why I think you’ll do juuust fine.

I’m not suggesting that anyone lower their moral standards to watch garbage on television, but I’m just letting you all know (ahead of time) NOT TO DISTURB ME ON MONDAY, JAN. 5, AT 8 P.M.

My prediction is that Megan will make it to the finale, or at least to the episode where the guy, and his top two or three girls, get to meet each other’s families.

The Boss said we have to “cheer for Megan” since I used to know her, so World, let’s all cheer for her together… megan…Megan…MEGAN! Rip through those other girls and go get your man! WOO!

(Does this mean I’m famous now…like, through association?)

One day (now) and counting! I am utterly spellbound and can not wait. The Lord works in mysterious ways, even if it is only for mere Monday night entertainment. Go girl go!

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
