Amy Update

I wrote a post last month about my friend Amy who just got deployed to Iraq.
Her birthday was on Christmas, so while holiday madness ensued, I’ve been thinking about her all week.
The good news is that she was finally able to e-mail us, and said she’s doing fine.
Her e-mail was fairly long (for Amy-speak, anyway,) which reassured me that she’s not living in a hole somewhere.
Be safe, Amy.
And keep writing — we miss you.
