Mind you, these are not "Friend" friends - I am actively servicing the few special and meaningful friendships I do have, in person, thank you very much - just acquaintances I see only once a year, at the music festival we attend regularly etc. So would I want to exchange pleasantries with them for the rest of the year, and spend hours and hours a day, instead of face-to-face conversations while out, reading, and such, with messaging back half-strangers and tending to my stupid Facebook account? Look rowdy and cool, with my wildest photos, AND be wary, with reason, that my prospective employer checks out my Facebook page, before looking at my CV in detail, and concluding I'm probably irresponsible and whatnot...? I don't need any of this, and will NOT join Facebook, just won't.
