While watching a Volkswagen commercial starring Brooke Shields:
 
The Boss’s Mom: Oh, there’s Brook Shields, she’s so pretty.

The Boss: No she’s not, we hate her in this house.

The Boss’s Mom: Aw, why?

The Boss: [turns to me] Are you still friends with your best friend’s ex?

Me: Huh?

The Boss: Are you still friends with your best friend’s ex?

Me: What?

The Boss: Are you still friends with your best friend’s ex?

Me: Am I, what? No.

The Boss: Exactly.

Me: What? Oh my God. Is this about Andre Agassi?

The Boss: After they got divorced, Agassi was a BEAST. We all know who was holding him down.

Me: He is not your best friend.

The Boss: The person who was right in the marriage always prospers after the divorce. Look at Agassi’s record.

The Boss’s Mom: Well Brook Shields has her own TV sh…

The Boss: CANCELLED!
