The Pilot Episode

This was the first video we ever shot. It was a TON of hard work, but an absolute joy to film and create.
I couldn’t have done it without my bff, Tina who let me parade around her house (and through her closet) unattended.
We turned her room upside down for nearly 16 hours, and the poor girl, exhausted after a long day of work, came home and fell asleep on the couch because there were about three tons of clothes, shoes, and boxes of hangers on her bed.
Special thanks to J. Refo for believing in my vision, and helping me bring it to life.
Our pilot episode was featured on washingtonpost.com during “Wedding Week,” September 2008.

“Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times” - Nobel laureate, Tawakul Karman, in response to journalists who said her hijab was not proportionate with her level of intellect and education.
